ABOUT THE REGATTA
The race is an informal, friendly sailing competition designed to present a sporting challenge to experienced and novice sailors. The regatta is open to everyone, Fairhaven residency is not a requirement so we encourage everyone with a beachable sailboat to participate.

This being our fourth year we are expecting many more boats and as such will be making a few changes. 

All participants are asked to meet at Hoppy’s Landing at 10:00AM for a quick skippers meeting. No online advance registration is necessary as in the past. The entry fee this year will be $15.00 and includes lunch.

Parking is free, and lunch will be provided for all racers afterwards at the WI Community Center, located at 41 Causeway Road on West Island.

We all need to keep in mind this race is meant to be a fun race for all ages and is staffed by an all volunteers giving generously there time so please thank them when you meet. Also if you would like to volunteer please let one of us know and we would be pleased to include you in any future communications.

BASIC INFORMATION​

  • The course will be approximately 3.5 miles
  • No need to register ahead of time
  • Bring check made payable to the WIIA in the amount of $15.00 for each participant
  • Lunch provided for all racers following the event at WI Community Center
LAUNCH & RACE SCHEDULE 

Start begins at 10:30AM, Skippers meeting at 10:00AM. Parking fees at Hoppy’s have been waived on the day of the race for both spectators and participants.
